DO NOT EVER GO HERE PLEASE STAY AWAY! It is unfortunate to have to leave a review as low as this but after much thought, I simply have no choice. Let me walk you through my experience at Beverly physio. I initially called to book an appointment and right from the beginning the woman who answered the phone was rude and quite obviously a very angry person. I was polite and professional. I've had bad days for sure. When I got there to 118thave and 42street, I couldn't find an entrance, so I called the office and the angry, rude, woman at the desk told me I was at the wrong place. She said they moved. I asked where and she told me one block over on 41st. I told her all their signage was still plastered all over the building I was at. She just told me that they moved 2 years ago, implying I should have learned by now. Very unprofessional. When I got there, I had the delight of meeting this small, bitter, and very confrontational secretary. Still trying to diffuse her anger, I lightly joked about what do you gotta do around here to get signs moved half a block in 2 years. She took this as an opening to vent and went off on how much trouble she's had with the old building managers and how she's given up. She continued to be impolite and overly prickly, hardly the way someone looking for treatment on injuries is looking for. Once I met the therapist, (Jaun Carlos) we had a very small 10 minute discussion where he repeated the same sentences over and over and then would ask okay? He spoke terrible english and could barely be understood, which is why he constantly repeats himself. Finally I had to interject and let him know, Juan, I completely understand the concepts you are trying to explain. He told me to stay in the dirty and unkempt room to wait for the angry secretary. She came in and put some heat on the very antiquated table and told me to lay down. It was lacking almost any padding and a separation in the middle of the table was quite painful. Her and I tried several different configurations until she said we'll just take you to another room. After she left and I got dressed, I grabbed my shoes and headed to the door to leave. I had enough, Juan came flying to the front where the secretary was asking me why I wanted to leave, he also asked 'whats wrong, what's wrong?' I began to explain to him what I'm explaining to you now, and all of a sudden the secretary cut me off and started yelling in Spanish! I immediately cut in and said, Excuse me, can you atleast speak english. Juan was frantically barking orders at her and two things became very clear, Number one, this secretary s outbursts and lack of professionalism are a recurring problem, and two, Juan and her are likely related or connected personally in some way. Never go here. This woman, about 5 foot 2, dark skinned (like me I might add) dark hair and eyes that look in different directions, will mistreat you. She hates her life and her job and it shows. She even bad mouthed another employee who was obviously fairly new to the place. Hopefully that person reads this so she knows. Her problems will become your problems. DO NOT GO HERE. Thanks for your time and I hope this helps.
