- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪UPDATE: Still no self checkout... Thanks. I try to skip this location and drive the extra 6 blocks to Safeway who have kindly provided self checkout. I don't know how many times I've waited at the 1 open cashier for 10 minutes to purchase the 1 item I ran in for. Save-on-Foods.. do us the courtesy of installing self-checkout. The manager implied to me some time ago that people in the neighborhood are too stupid to use them but Safeway up the road seems to be doing fine.by Seth GroverJanuary 13, 2017
