  Our oldest daughter's teeth are gorgeous thanks to Karen Hesse. We're about to embark on some ortho work for our 3 young kids and know the results will be similarly excellent. The office systems at Align are so well thought out that the place functions like a well-oiled machine.The staff is very professional and friendly. There's a little games area and a "tree house" for kids in the waiting room. I would highly recommend Align if you're looking for a positive ortho experience for yourself or your child.

  I recently received a letter from Dr. Norman Thie listing clinical observations, diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations regarding my visit to see him. I wish to express disappointment in this false document because during his one minute diagnosis at a cost of $245 not one item was actually covered during my personal appointment. I paid a fee of $245 for his time. He failed to give me his time which was a fee for service. Not only was there a clear lack of communication this trip was a complete waste of time and money. My personal view is that from his end, little or no attention is paid to coordinating resources to provide more convenient services for " out of towners ". It is my impression they we have a two tier system here i.e. The wealthy can perhaps afford it but those on a fixed or low income simply can't manage these extra trips. If I followed the schedule Dr. Thie suggests I would need to make another trip to Edmonton just for the jaw MRI and another to obtain results- three trips before even any actual treatment. This was the worst and least effective medical appointment I have ever experienced.
