  I love my pets and I love to spoil them, while also getting the basic essentials. I have stopped in at multiple pet stores throughout Edmonton and first off, Petland Capilano was one of my favorites just because it's consistently well-stocked, clean and has lots to offer (especially for birds). However, this location in general has consistently provided me with exceptional customer service each and every time I've stopped in. The staff are friendly, clearly love animals and great at making sure you are taken care of. I recently had an issue where a cage I purchased had a damaged part, and the manufacturer could not replace it and didn't want to make the effort to make things right (despite the warranty claims in the box). As a last ditch effort, I emailed Petland to see if there was anything they could do to help, and they certainly came through for me. They went above and beyond to make sure my bird was in a safe cage and that things were made right. The assistant manager, Garrett, was super kind and truly involved in the process to ensure that all of the problems were resolved. I can honestly say that Petland Capilano will be my first stop for all of my future pet needs. Thank you guys so much.

  Great Customer Service, was greeted upon entering and directed to the right area. Was assisted in the fish department as I needed alot of fish food 3x more than average. The crew was able to point out a better value for my money. I really appreciated that. Upon leaving I was greeted with a pleasant and friendly smile and suggestion to join the club for discounts. Overall it was a welcoming and non pressuring environment.

  Seriously this store sucks. The toys were outrageously priced like literally triple where I have bought dog toys other places. Crappy service and the store was dirty. Never again.
