  Nice facility. Was shocked to have my relative have her own room. I wanted to give 5 stars, because I believe the OSC is a great place for orthopaedic surgery recovery, and while the majority of nurses and doctors we interacted with were incredible, the rehabilitation team in particular, there were a couple who seemed to not have the same level of caring. They were a little less attentive and didn't seem to communicate with other people who were checking in. The on call doctor was also unfortunately disappointing. She didn't seem very friendly and seemed to be annoyed when we asked questions. She also forgot to actually check things off on a requisition form for blood work which made things a bit of a hassle after. I understand fully that mistakes happen and oversights happen, but there did seem to be the feeling that she just wasn't interested. She also didn't seem to communicate well with the nurses on the case, nor did she see fit to keep the family included in discharge plans. Other than that unfortunate experience, our overall stay at the OSC was fantastic. Obviously, we never want to be there again because who wants to get their joints replaced? But if for whatever reason we had to be there again, we'd be very, very comfortable being there again.
