- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have had similar experience with reception--quite rude, uncaring and certainly not friendly. They often ignore you--just to acknowledge your presence would be nice. It's unfortunate because my doctor at the clinic is the exact opposite--excellent in every way. I recently observed a new reception staff member being 'trained' and she was being treated the same way they generally treat the clients--I sure hope she doesn't end up with the same unfriendly/rude attitude. I really don't get it--I work with the public all day every day too--there is no excuse. Kindness in every action of your day makes your day better too--and it's amazing the effect that you have on the people you interact with...especially in the medical field, where that person may be facing a lot rougher day that you might imagine.by A Google UserSeptember 06, 2017
