  Great staff. I loved the secretaries here--they always remembered my name even years afterward when I wanted a replacement retainer. I aways felt accommodated here during the period of having braces, which was a brief 1.5 years. Got my braces off in 2005. Fast forward to 2017 I learned that the method in which Dr Dmitrick used isn't that good, or rather, it's a dated practice. I had 8 teeth pulled in total because of crowding, so I naturally thought it was normal (what did I know of orthodontics). This resulted in a smaller smile, one I wasn't the most happy with, but yay straight teeth, right? I was ignorant back then and thought nothing of it. Nowadays instead of making the smile smaller from having teeth pulled out modern practices now make the smile/bite broader, which I have always desired. Moreover, this also prevents the arch in your mouth from becoming too high, because the bite has been narrowed, and potentially interfering with the nasal passage diminishing airflow. I understand there are now specialized retainers that can be used to broaden the smile and lowering the arch of the mouth, but for me that'll cost me probably a couple thousand dollars more to another orthodontist on top of the $8000 I've already paid to Embrace for my braces. My advice to you is don't commit after a consultation right away. Look for modern practices. With the right orthodontist you won't have to pay for any cosmetic fixes in that future. Avoid having teeth pulled if you can (so you can have that broad smile). :)

  I would highly recommend Embrace Orthodontics to anyone. Our daughter spent almost 3 years as a patient and was treated extremely well. They are all always running on schedule so there is no waiting. They were always very accommodating as well. We are definitely gonna miss our visits.
